Bhanu Choudhrie Discusses Aviation with Malcolm Gallagher of BizVision

Bhanu Choudhrie is the CEO and founder of Alpha Aviation Group, a leading pilot training venture. Bhanu Choudhrie was featured on the “Meet the Leader” program hosted by Malcolm Gallagher.

Bhanu Choudhrie always dreamt of becoming an astronaut or a pilot, and this passion resulted in the formation of Alpha Aviation Group 14 years ago. Bhanu Choudhrie discovered that the global demand for pilots was increasing, and having worked at Air Deccan, AAG was just an extension of the encounter.

Since its inception, AAG has trained over 1,000 pilots coming from more than 40 countries, and it has established satellite centers in UAE and the Philippines. AAG’s target is to increase the number of qualified pilots such that every flight in the Asian region has a credible deck operator.

The novel coronavirus pandemic has affected every industry, and the travel sector has also received its share. COVID-19 pandemic was an unexpected situation because since the emergence of Ebola and SARS, such a troublesome happening had never been realized, thus the airline sector should adjust to the reality.

Airlines must lower the number of aircraft and even lower the charges once they resume. The travel sector demonstrated perfect leadership skills in the initial stages of the pandemic by ceasing operations temporarily.

Bhanu claimed that AAG is adjusting to the virus perfectly because the learning programs are now done online. This way, many trainees can access the lessons, and they hope that regulators will uphold the teaching format in the future. AAG has flight simulators with AI whereby different cadets can be placed in the sector.

Initially, the aviation training industry was under the military, but now the pilots attend private training departments like AAG. This area, therefore, concerns the airlines’ executives since they do not intend to incur more money, but they wish the safest standards for the passengers.
